About OptiSize (TM)
This program is a calculator for resizing and reproducing images, photos, documents, or any two-dimensional object. It is an electronic version of a Photo-Mechanical Transfer (PMT) whiz-wheel. It canalso be used to determine the number of duplicate images that will fit onto a page.
Features:
* Calculates scale given sizes of original and final images. This program is very general purpose.
* Calculates final/original size given original/final size and scale.
* Calculates quantity to a page given final image size and page size.
* Calculates image size given page size and quantity to fit in page.
* Calculates page size given image size and quantity to fit in page.
* 30 default size dimensions available for selection in the pop-up quick list under "Original" "Final" and "Page Size."
* Up to 50 custom size dimensions can be stored. Can save or delete these sizes as desired.
* Intuitive user interface.
* Supports both English and Metric units.
* Unique Tab format allows for easy switching between views.
* Large navigation buttons -- easier to use with fingers vs stylus.
* 5 way navigation button support
* Handles dimensions up to 99,999 inches.

* Determining photocopier scale setting for obtaining desired reduction/enlargement.
* Photo resizing in general (Example: convert 5x7 to 4x6).
* Determine number of business cards you can print on one page to determine how much card stock you need.
* Resizing sections of markups of engineering drawings for communicating changes to designers or faxing portions of drawings.
* Resizing documents in A4 to fit on an 8 1/2 x 11" sheet.
* Resizing documents in US legal size to US letter size.
* Determine optimum size of image to print out photos for baby announcements on the least amount of photo paper. (Example: You have 58 announcements and only 3 sheets of photo paper. Determine the biggest size of your baby''s photo for 58 prints, minimizing wasted white space.)
* Scale your text to banner size.
