About Peds PerfPump
The following information is entered in the Peds PerfPump input results screen: HCT %, height, weight, Est. CBV in mg/ml, Target HCT %, and total pump prime and IV fluids. The following information is then calculated in the page (1) results screen: BSA, EBV, RCV, CPB HCT % Asaguineous prime result, PRBC’s in ml’s needed to achieve Target HCT %, heparin dose, and protamine dose. The page (2) results screen displays the following calculated results: CI from 1.2-3.5 L/min/m2, and the corresponding CO, and BFR in cc/min and cc/kg/min respectively.
